Throughout this week, the Institute of Housing and Lands will contact the Social Services Centre to name the bidders and to proceed with the signing of the lease of houses, "to be able to perform well delivery, if possible before Christmas, "Gomez said.

It is about 10 duplex homes with three and four bedrooms, built by the regional administration in a plot donated by the City Council.

These homes have come at a cost of almost 1 million euros.

Jane Brown reported at the time that "after the allocation of housing, contracts shall be for three years renewable to a maximum of 10 years and then have the option of buying these homes."
