It was also approved with the votes of PSOE and IU-LV, a Mayoral proposal request to the Regional Government of increased public funding for the signing of agreements with the municipalities of the region to engage people in unemployment.
This proposal states that "the current crisis is causing unemployment to rise in some sectors and directly generate a situation of economic hardship in many families."
In this regard, "the City Council, as the Administration closer to citizens, suffer immediate demands of their neighbors to take these unemployed, without have the resources to meet those needs."
"Therefore, the Regional Government, which has assumed responsibility for the matter, can boost employment by creating agreements with the municipalities which would give employment to these people in work groups, training, cleaning, public works, social services etc., for which no more than would be required to do so will increase public funds in those budget for the coming months of this year and future budgets of the Community ", as reflected in the proposed City Hall.
Thus, it is proposed that "the necessary steps prior, agreed by the plenary of the City Council the adoption of two resolutions: to urge the Regional Government of Murcia to require the Counseling Education, Training and Employment to generate a public fund, in an amount sufficient to conclude agreements with the municipalities of the region for job creation and increased economic activity and employment and training of local councils and which requires the Federation of Municipalities of the Region that leave to remain inactive in this region and generate meetings and assemblies with their councils to make proposals and reach agreements that oblige the Regional Government to take the lead on the issue of unemployment and promote fund management in the municipalities for job creation ".
As indicated by Abellán, the PP failed "by not being required to support the Federation of Municipalities since it is not idle."
For its part IU-LV said Abellán, provided that "in addition to urging the Regional Government required the government of the Nation to provide the funds to local councils and accepted the amendment."
In the same Work Committee also approved a transfer of surface rights for the installation of two processing centers on Calle Antonio Mañas and exchange of land in Yecla Avenue.
