The Department of Sports is launching two new city schools, the basketball and swimming (19/09/2008)

The Sports City Councilman José Luis Monreal, has announced the program for the academic year 2008/09.

The main novelty of this program is the launch of two new city schools, the Basketball and Swimming.

José Luis Monreal stated on the College Basketball that "there was missed because there were not many fans, but now it seems that this practice is recovering."

This is intended for children born in the years 1996, 1,997, 1,998, 1,999 and 2,000.

As Swim School noted that "many people Jumilla makes swimming in the different courses and we also have some very good facilities for it."

The implementation of these schools will participate in competitions and exhibitions, among other activities.

Those interested in joining these schools should contact the council at the Sports Pavilion.

The start date is October 1.

The mayor of Sports has indicated that the school philosophy is "start with the foundation and build up the youth level."

Apart from these schools in this academic year 2008/2009 will continue swimming courses in all its forms and for different ages as well as aqua-aerobics classes.

Also it will continue to provide fitness training, "since it has wide acceptance," said Monreal.

Alternative classes are three hours a week and there are three groups at different times.
