Involving three vehicles in a road accident at the Santa Ana (29/07/2008)

Last Saturday was a spectacular accident on the road to Santa Ana del Monte.

The accident occurred about quarter past seven in the evening and in it three vehicles were involved.

The result was the same number injured to varying degrees, two of whom remain hospitalized at the Virgen del Castillo de Yecla, as reported to police.

The accident also caused significant damage, in fact two vehicles have been described as 'total loss'.

According to sources, "the fate and the rapid intervention of firefighters who had to release one of the drivers, prevented more serious injury."

Everything happened in a sharp bend in the road of Santa Ana, where a procession of cars from a wedding was going to Jumilla.

At that time another vehicle ahead of the procession and other tourism, towards Santa Ana, lost control in that car hit the curve and going forward and one of the party.

In the accident, three vehicles were involved and of the four occupants were injured in a car and driver headed to Santa Ana The first are from the town of Ontur and the second of Jumilla.

At this point, a young first occupant of the car remains hospitalized in Yecla, but will be transferred shortly to the Hospital de Hellin and driver Jumillano also remains in the Virgen del Castillo Hospital with multiple fractures and bruises.

The accident involved the local police officers, firefighters, two ambulances and civil guard.
