The Civil Guard dismantled a house dedicated to the sexual exploitation of foreign citizens (05/02/2016)

He has arrested a man and a woman who were credited with authoring alleged offense relating to prostitution and human trafficking for sexual exploitation

The victims, seven young Guinean nationality, resided and exercised allegedly prostitution in a house in Jumilla

The Civil Guard, as part of the services established to prosecute and prevent trafficking in human beings, developed the operation 'slip' a result of which research has dismantled a house in Jumilla dedicated to the sexual exploitation of at least seven women, culminating in the arrest of two people on suspicion of crimes related to prostitution and human trafficking for sexual exploitation.

The investigation began when the Civil Guard was on the trail of a house, located in the town of Jumilla, on which there are reasonable grounds for use as a brothel camouflaged foreign citizens.

The result of the numerous monitoring devices, the Civil Guard has located the house and has found the influx of people, usually late at times, quite often without a particular cause.

The Civil Guard has found that, although housing was run by a man and a woman of African origin suspected pimps, also resided a number of other foreign youths, some of which could be found in an irregular situation in the country, a circumstance considered necessary or vulnerability arising from the helplessness of these to submit to the abuse.

After obtaining the necessary evidence and made known to the competent judicial authority, the Civil Guard has developed the operational phase of the operation, consisting of a dozen agents and targeted at the entry and search of the home investigated.

The police operation has led to the arrest of two people who allegedly had control of housing and benefited from the economic gains made by the victims.

This is a male, 37, Cameroonian nationality and a woman of 23 years and Guinean nationality, who are credited with the alleged author of a crime related to prostitution and human trafficking for sexual exploitation.

Seven women in the home of Guinean nationality and ages were between 24 and 32 years investigated alleged victims of illicit, two of which lack the documentation to stay regularly in Spain.

An unhealthy house as a brothel

The inspection of the property has given the unhealthiness of its facilities, in one of four girls whose rooms were crowded, with the only privacy curtain separating another bed, which allegedly paid sexual services.

In another room there were two fridges crammed with drinks that supposedly offered to customers who came to the property and, in turn, served as a bedroom for other victims.

Operation 'slip' has culminated in the arrest of two people a man, 37, Cameroonian nationality and a woman of 23 years and Guinean nationals on suspicion of crimes relating to prostitution and human trafficking for exploitation sexual, the identification of seven alleged victims and the dismantling of the housing used for such offense.

Detainees and the proceedings have been brought before the Court of the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Jumilla (Murcia).

Crime of human trafficking

Is considered human trafficking the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harboring, reception and accommodation, using violence, intimidation or deceit or abuse of a position of superiority or need or vulnerability of the domestic or foreign victim, in order to : imposition of forced labor or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery or servitude or begging practices;

sexual exploitation, including pornography and the extraction of their bodily organs.

The perpetrators cited may face sentences ranging from five to eight years in prison.
