Open call for subsidies to rehabilitate buildings (14/01/2016)

The Department of Works and Urbanism of the City of Jumilla reports that it has approved the call for subsidies for rehabilitation edificatoria Murcia, according BORM published on 31 December.

They are eligible conservation actions (foundation, structure, facilities, roofs, facades or other common elements), improving quality and sustainability, and accessibility.

To improve sustainability, improving the thermal insulation of the building is subsidized to reduce energy demand for heating or cooling (replacement of joinery and glazing);

and improving the energy efficiency of public facilities, among others, while for accessibility, which adapt the buildings and access to housing and local current regulations (installation of elevators, stair lifts, ramps or other devices accessibility).

The maximum amount of subsidies to be granted is 11,000 euros per household and per 100 square meters of floor space of commercial property.

Thus, it is calculated by multiplying the number of houses and 100 square meters of floor space of local building, stated in writing horizontal division or, failing that, in the land registry or cadastre

The grants are awarded through a competitive process, with priority given to actions in which at least 60 percent of homeowners are integrated into building living units whose income does not exceed 6.5 times the minimum wage ( Indicator Public Multiple Effect Income), which in 2015 is set at 532.51 euros per month.

The payment of aid is made known to major works by an advance payment of 30 percent of the grant, upon presentation of the municipal license and the certificate of commencement of work;

the remaining 70 percent, once provided by the beneficiary the final certificate of work;

while for minor works, a single payment will be made for the full amount of the grant, on justification of it.

Aid applications shall be completed and presented at the General Register of the Ministry of Development, a deadline of two months.

To qualify for the aid must have the Building Assessment Report, completed and signed by the competent technician, the agreement of the community or communities of owners in question, except in cases of buildings sole proprietorship, and project or report, as appropriate, of the action to be performed.

The beneficiaries of the aid are owner communities, groupings of communities of owners, or the sole owners of residential buildings, as well as government and agencies and other public entities in buildings that are entirely intended for rent , for at least 10 years from the receipt of aid.
