The Museum of Natural Sciences has organized a visit to the mines of La Celia for Saturday (06/08/2015)

The Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences Jerónimo Molina has prepared for this Saturday a guided tour of the mines of La Celia.

It is intended for the general public, but especially families with children, which always will be accompanied by their parents.

It will be guided by Angel Francisco Cutillas, collaborator of the Museum, and Cayetano Herrero, director.

Departures will take place in the courtyard of Market at 10 am, each in their private car or by filling in cars with friends.

Return to Jumilla is planned for 13 hours.

The activity will consist in collecting various minerals found in old mine dumps.

There will be a visit to one of the galleries of the mine, which is expected lanterns must go, hat and water.

The minerals that are collected will be studied and classified on the premises of the Museum of Natural Science on Saturday 29 August, to start a collection.

The Celia mines are located 9 km west of Jumilla in Jumilla road between Hellin.
