Lift the Interior Ave network comprising 13 locations in Murcia and Alicante, held this week a meeting in Villena with which has launched a video and several promotional brochures for tourism that can reach the area through high-speed train that will Villena as a benchmark.
This city of Alicante with Alcoy, Bocairent, Ibi, Biar, Onil, Elda, Sax, Petrer, Banyeres of Mariola, Castalla, Jumilla and Yecla are part of this group which seeks a new way to attract visitors to their municipalities.
The video has been produced in collaboration with Mola Travel Channel and collects images of a route that begins in Villena medieval wedding with a couple in the Atalaya Castle to then take a tour of all the municipalities around "finding their treasures ".
Jumilla is precisely the next destination of the couple, visiting the Castle Museum Jerónimo Molina and a bodega.
Brochures have been developed in which all participating municipalities with information and images on its tourist attractions are present.
These booklets have already been distributed in major tourism fairs in Spain and have traveled some of the major European capitals like London or Berlin.
The brochures are translated into English and will soon be translated into French and Russian at the request of tourists.
The promotional materials also can be found in the "tourist info" of the municipalities, in the network of cities AVE and internet.
The aim is also to break borders between municipalities and not be seen as competition in tourism.
It has been emphasized all councilors present at the meeting of Villena, among which was the Councillor for Culture and Tourism of the City of Jumilla, Maria Pilar Martinez.
