Adopted new cooperation agreement with the Red Cross until the end of the year (06/07/2015)

The mayor of Jumilla, Juan Guardiola, reported this morning the main decisions taken by the Local Government Board.

It has approved a new cooperation agreement with Red Cross Jumilla 5,000 euros, whose execution time is until 31 December, to meet the various programs and activities of immigrants, the elderly, adapted transport, counseling and other types of serving the collective needs.

The first mayor noted that in subsequent years will try to improve this agreement given the large number of people in the city need these services.

Reference works, has been awarded the remodeling of the street Antonio Machado, included in the POS, to Jumillano Construcciones Guillercons amounting to 42 886 euros.

Have also approved several minor works that part of the fence of the Botanical Garden of New Town will be restored at a cost of 1,470 euros and part of artificial stone bench outside the garden of King Don Pedro will be repaired by 3,085 euros.

They also replaced some of the shelters city bus stops for an amount of 1,373 euros and will buy the stone needed for the ramp to an entrance of the sports center where you already are doing works.

In these cases the works will be staffed by the City Council.

Moreover, they have released the names of the components of the Bureau of Permanent Recruitment assistance to the Governing Board.

It will be chaired by Juan Guardiola, having as members the secretary and comptroller of the City Council and a member of each municipal political group.

Also has approved the start of record contract for the separate collection of paper, cardboard and light packaging and Ecoparque management, services whose contracts were extinguished.

Juana Guardiola has also informed about the continuation of the proceedings of a direct subsidy by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the former mayor asked.

One will go to improving the top floor of the Museum of Ethnography, amounting to 30,000 euros.

The other involves the drafting and implementation of the Museum Project Jumilla Wine Museum, with an amount of 50,000 euros.
