The Young Artist Awards celebrate its 15th anniversary with a new award (23/03/2015)

The Youth Council held this past week, the 15th anniversary of the Young Artist Award, a new award corresponding to the 2015 edition, for the papers presented to the categories of photography, music, visual arts and literature.

The jury this year was made up Laly Aurora Martinez and Garcia, fine arts, St. Joan Lozano and Ana Maria Olivares Thomas in literature, Francisco Javier Pastor and Juan Canicio in photography, Alejandro García Villaverde and Juan Diego Gómez in music, all jumillanos artists with outstanding professional curriculum, which were commissioned to make delivery of the various prizes.

On the one hand, in the category of music, the song "Hip hop Phoenix" by Carlos González García, was chosen as the winning piece this year, in a category with lower share of jobs.

As for literature, the story "Knock, knock, can ¿?"

Roberto Pérez González was winner while "Drop by drop" Ascension González Guardiola was second.

The form of photography, was as usual, one of which was greater participation.

On the one hand in category A, ie young people between 16 and 18 years, Antonio León Bleda Palencia, with "Volleyball" was first, followed by "Nature itself" Ana Gregorio Muñoz, and "Autumn in the field "Sara Moreno Martínez.

In mode B, for young people between 18 and 21 years, "Towards a desert island" by Joaquín Ruiz Bernal, photography was chosen as the best in its class.

"Mistreated" by Marina Jiménez García was taking second place, and "The Gondolier" María Jesús Sánchez Guardiola third.

In addition to photography, the jury awarded second prize to a photographic series by Celia de la Cruz García Reoli.

Finally, in art, in the mode A, the first award was for Daniel Cruz López, with "Face", the second prize has gone to Gilar Ana López, with "folk Air" and the third prize to David Abarca Martinez, "Self portrait".

Youth Councilman Fernando Oñate, congratulated the winners and encouraged all those who failed to award this year to keep trying in the next editions, and which he said "this competition is more alive than ever thanks to the creativity of young people jumillanos, as evidenced by the numerous papers presented this year. "
