Jumilla increases its educational offerings with the School of Early Childhood Education "El Carche" (11/03/2015)

The Government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, the Minister of Education, Culture and Universities, Pedro Antonio Sánchez, and the Mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, visited today the new School of Early Childhood Education "The Carcha" which increases public education offer Jumilla, with facilities for 107 students between 12 months and three years, the construction represents an investment in the town of nearly 600,000 euros.

As explained by the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez "is the first public nursery school to be built in Jumilla, something we have to thank the Government of Spain and the Ministry of Education".

Also highlighted the mayor, "Success will have the School regarding the demand for places, considering that it will be built alongside the new Education Centre Prince Felipe, so the school will facilitate continuity".

Meanwhile the Minister pointed as "rule is to prioritize, and for us public education is a clear priority, which has enabled us to invest 600,000 euros in this new educational infrastructure, the first public Infant School Jumilla, which is also located in a strategic area of ​​growth, where utilities arrive before the buildings, a model guarantees the welfare state, and sound planning, as expected before there is demand, the City anticipates betting on growth their city. "

Alongside School Childhood Education Prince Felipe new school will be built with an investment of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities of 3.3 million euros.

Thus, the proximity of the two schools facilitate the transition of students from school to school.

The center has two units with 13 seats for schoolchildren in 12 months to two years each;

and four units in the third year of junior kindergarten, four of them for 16 students from two to three years and the other for 17 students.

Currently the Centre provides educational services to 14 school, as well as children and children involved in the afternoons in extracurricular activities organized by the school.
