The theatrical tour "Pirates of Earth," the children's workshop "Mythology Letters" and the documentary "Humble ignored beauty" focus the cultural agenda these days (20/02/2015)

The theatrical tour "Land Pirates", child activity "Mythology Card" or the projection of audiovisual "Humble ignored Beauty" will be some of the activities planned for the coming days in Jumilla, within the cultural agenda, to be completed with a new session of the lecture on Museums of the Region of Murcia.

Precisely this new appointment conference on museums starts the agenda this week, on Thursday, at 20.00 in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia, focusing this time on Ethnographic Museums in the Region.

For this, the director of the Museo de la Huerta Sewer, José Antonio Melgares, visit Jumilla, to address the peculiarities of these museums, where the living history of each site is collected.

On Friday, at 19.30 hours will be held at the Teatro Vico, the Sounds of Soul concert, organized by the Department of Education, in honor of Thomas and Maria Angeles to benefit the AECC.

The Saturday morning at 11.00 am, at the Archaeological Museum, children will star with child activity, "Letters Mythology".

During the workshop will perform a deck with which to play and at which the best known Greek and Roman gods are represented.

From this theme, children will learn the Roman presence in Jumilla and representations of some of these gods in the remains found at different sites in the locality and the parts that are in the museum and outside it, like the statue Hypnos God bronze found in Berlin.

Afternoon cultural activity will continue at the Museum of Ethnography, where the projection of audiovisual "Humble Beauty Ignored" will take place, in which part of the work described in these days, in the sample of photographs Jumillano Bartolomé Medina is collected on the flora of the town.

The screening will take place at 20.00 pm in the Multipurpose Room of the Museum.

Finally, the book ends on Sunday, February 22, at 11.00, with teatralizara visit "Pirates of Earth", a tour of the old town of Jumilla, from the hand of one of the most famous bandits of release, Jaime Alfonso "The Bearded", staged by the Group of Thalia Theater.

The tour will begin at the Arc de San Roque, to the Plaza of the Constitution, to finish in Top Plaza where visitors will discover eventually that was the most famous outlaw of Jumilla.

In the afternoon of Sunday, at 20.00 hours Theatre hosts The Malquerida, La Malquerida is the story of an inevitable and stormy passion that leads to destruction: the confrontation between a forbidden passion (the incestuous love) and conventions impeding social and moral satisfaction of desire.
