The Department of Equality resume activity this week, and does so with several courses, plus around the School Empowerment, an open space dedicated to different topics, this quarter will take place on Thursday at the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños.
After the great success it has had since its launch Empowerment School, the Department of Equality remote this initiative, with a full program of events is expected, as last year, a leading women's participation.
The first activity of the year will be a craft workshop will be conducted by Antonia Guardiola, which will take place this Thursday, February 12, from 17.00 to 18.30 in the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños.
Empowerment School, is a meeting point where various aspects for personal growth of the participants, with workshops and lectures widely-themed work.
From self-esteem, conflict resolution risoterapia or until craft workshops or lectures on body care and health, every Thursday of each month from 17.00 to 18.30, the School of Empowerment meet dozens of women to work in an joint aspects of personal growth and autonomy of participants.
Access is free, and can attend lectures and workshops all women who wish without registration.
Moreover, Monday, starts the training course "Health Care at Home in hygiene and personal security", organized by the Association for Integral Development of Women in Rural Water and Earth in collaboration with the Department Equality.
The course will last for 95 hours, and will be held from Monday to Thursday from 9.30 am to 13.30 pm in the Sociocultural Centre Roque Baños, from February 9 to March 18.
Moreover, this week the Department conduct awareness activities on the occasion of Valentine's Day in Secondary Education Centres of the locality, such as prevention of toxic relationships among the teenage population of the municipality.
Activities in February
Activities for the month of February, complete, Thursday 19 Workshop "postural hygiene and back school" by Angel Mateo Gómez, within the School of Empowerment, as always from 17.00 to 18.30 hours Sociocultural Center Roque Baños, with free admission.
On Friday, February 20, the Day of Rural Entrepreneurship Motivation to be held in Jumilla, also in the Roque Baños.

On Thursday February 26, the session of the School of Empowerment will be dedicated to Talk "Failsafe Fire" which will be taught by members of the Fire Station in Jumilla.
And finally to end the month, Friday, February 27, from 11.00 to 12.00, returns to the local radio station, Radio Jumilla, the "Equal Waves" which will keep every last Friday of each month, the 107.7 FM.
