Youth bet again on the "Young Art" competition, an initiative of the Department that it is promoting creativity and encouraging the participation of young people between 12 and 21 years of the town in various creative categories.
For this edition, Jumilla youth interested in participating may do so in the categories of literature, music, visual arts and photography, until February 16, 2015, the date on which the period will be closed.
The awards this year will be 140 euros for first prize in each category, 80 euros for the second and 30 euros for the third.
The requirements to participate in each event may be obtained from the Office of Youth, and also young people have access to them through youth stewards of the two institutes of the town.
Youth Councilman Fernando Oñate, has encouraged young people to participate in this competition, "an initiative which is to encourage the creativity of local youth", and which in this edition, favors recognition of new talent, to be included in the basis the requirement that they may not be awarded young people who have been winners in the last three editions.
The Youth Office will be offering all information relating to the contest to all young people interested in participating, as the deadline until February 16.
