Jumilla have a Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence next year (15/12/2014)

The Point of Specialized Care for Women Victims of Domestic Violence happens next year to work as Care Center Women Victims of Domestic Violence, improving services and increasing benefits, among which will include, legal advice and victim care by a social worker.

This was announced this morning the Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, who has made official the news, so Jumilla will CAVI next year.

"The Ministry of Social Policy has plans to increase EAP services Jumilla, so increase the budget for the recruitment of three professional profiles that make up these centers, such as a psychologist, a social worker and a legal adviser" .

Moreover stood out as "this is great news, because Jumilla will have a CAVI next year, a respondent service and currently presented in the market town of Yecla, and now we will have in our town, so Women who need this service will not move to other locations to receive counseling and legal advice ".

Also took the opportunity to thank the whole work of the ALMA Association with the Department, "collaborating cream and collective specimen as when a group works together with management, the objectives are achieved and achievements are greater."

CAVI, care, support and protection

The Network of Specialized Care Centers for Women Victims of Violence (CAVI) established by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, in collaboration with various municipalities of the region, offers individual and group therapy abused women.

Attention is performed comprehensive and free of charge from different professional approaches: psychological, social and legal.

Thus, the necessary support to enhance the social and psychological skills of women who come to this resource, and to successfully overcome the experiences provided.

The CAVI are meeting places for women with similar problems, in which a space that aims to reinforce their feelings of safety and security features.

Al CAVI they can turn all those older women who are abused by their partner or ex-partner, or who think they may be fighting a similar situation.

Exceptionally, they may be treated in the CAVI adolescents who suffer domestic violence whenever it has the maternal or paternal consent.

The intervention program proposed by the CAVI is appropriate to the objectives and needs of each woman, without requiring prerequisites and not limited to a certain number of sessions.
