The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez and the first deputy mayor, Alicia Abellán, this morning visited the works that are running on the Echegaray Street, where it will reshape the road surface remedying the deficiencies in this street.
In 2010 took place in the plan of action in the streets and public spaces, the redevelopment of the street where the sewer service, water, asphalt and sidewalk repair was reformed.
But gradually, the street has been presented abnormalities asphalt pavement, with ripples that hindered the movement of vehicles.
After numerous complaints the City of Jumilla to the contractor of the works, the company has started remodeling the street, in order to correct the anomalies in the stretch of Avenida de Yecla to the Street Paz.
The works began yesterday, could be finalized next week, with the replacement of the firm, and raids on the street, in the main proceedings on the Street.
