Councillor for Sports, Juan Manuel Abellan visited this morning the children who are participating in this year's third edition of Campus Football "Ciudad de Jumilla", an initiative which helps the council and to be held during the month of July in municipal facilities.
The campus started last Monday in the municipal sports facilities, summer pool and Sociocultural Roque Baños Centre, which will be the premises where the classes from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 14.00 hours to develop.
Within the formative qualities that children attending are refined, football training modernization and specific sports, water activities and multisport, internal competition and nutritional education, among others.
The panel component monitors the campus, Ivan Navarro, Kevin Herrera, Sergio Campos and Jumillano Alvaro Campos and Jesus Guardia, who will take charge of specific goalkeeper training.
In addition, each day will have the assistance of a professional footballer, most notably in this edition Alfredo Ortuño striker Granada, Juanto Villarreal striker or Arturo Cordoba and professionals involved in top-level football, as Jaime Serra, trainer of Johor Malaysia and Juan Gonzalez, psychologist Elche FC, among others.
As highlighted by the council, "this is a great initiative that consolidates every year in the town, where dozens of children complete their education and acquire knowledge and values, at the same time enjoy various recreational activities using summer vacation. "
Moreover congratulated the organization for the excellent coordination, and he qualified "Jumilla is a great city to host this type of activity, because it has complete sports facilities, the Department makes available to promote sport in the city, especially grassroots sport. "
