Jumilla expands its educational offerings with three new cycles of Vehicle Maintenance, Administrative Services and Information and Communications (24/06/2014)

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities recently published the offer Basic Training for next year, which will be 134 cycles to be taught in all municipalities with Secondary Schools.

These training courses are implanted with 13 titles in the region of this new mode of teaching, to be conducted in 88 centers throughout the region and with a supply of 3,000 spaces, within which is included Jumilla, where will launch three new cycles, two in the IES Infanta Elena on Vehicle Maintenance and Administrative Services, as a novelty, a third in the IES Archbishop Lozano, Information Technology and Communications.

Thus, the two Institutes of town offer this new form of Basic Training.

The Director General of Vocational Training, Joaquin Buendia said that "Basic Training is aimed at students aged 15 to 17 years and is created within the level of the education system as a means to facilitate the retention of students and pupils in the educational system and provide greater opportunities for personal and professional development. Moreover, this first offer of places will double in future courses and will include new titles. "

These degrees of free compulsory education concluding with an official university level in the second year and, in addition to the professional modes, including related common blocks communication and applied sciences and social sciences modules allow students and pupils reach and develop the skills of lifelong learning throughout life to pursue studies in upper secondary education.

This course is intended for the implementation of 13 new titles of Basic Training, covering a wide variety of professional fields like Electrical & Electronics, Kitchen and Catering, Information Technology and Communications, Hair & Beauty, or Commercial Vehicle Maintenance Services.

Adding students to the Basic Training part of the proposal made by the faculty of the student center where he studies Secondary Education and will be voluntary and with the agreement of the parents.

In this job to secondary schools, we must add the 21 groups that will bid Basic Training, a modular way, the Centers for Adult Education in the region and are aimed at students over 17 years.
