The Flamenco Festival "Golden Grape" closes its 20th anniversary with a significant influx of public Vico Theatre (19/05/2014)

With a remarkable influx of public Vico Theatre, the Cultural Association Peña Flamenca "Golden Grape" held this Saturday, the 20th Anniversary of the Flamenco Festival, after two decades bringing together some of the most important flamenco figures of Spain, this weekend again with a new edition of art, feeling and tronío home, Jumilla.

A dozen artists of the stature of Morilito of Córdoba, Enrique Ordóñez, Lolo de la Encarnación, Charo Street, Toni Barroso, Vico David Sánchez, Araceli Ruiz, Jacob Carmen and teacher Arrebola, came together this year's Festival, in which he also featured the performance of guest artist Jose Mendez, nephew Paquera de Jerez.

Group Flamenco Song and Touch Murcia and dancer Carmen Lara and his group were also part of this 20th edition of the Festival.

The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez was in charge of closing the Festival, congratulating the organization for "another great Festival, with growing flamenco associated with the name of Jumilla."

Also, thanked the participation of the prevailing artists that have been part of the lineup of this year, and expressed his hope that this cultural event, continue on the bench that has been drawing for the past 20 years.

The 20th Anniversary celebrations began last Wednesday with photo exhibition on artists, singers, dance groups and touch, who have gone through the 20 year history of the Festival Flamenco "Golden Grape" and the round table on "The flamenco styles."

On Thursday, Col. MADOC, D. Tomás Julián García Sánchez, was in charge of making the XX Cry "Sing, touch, and poetry" on a detailed tour of the flamenco art, his clubs, history and lore.

On Friday in BSI, the Peña Flamenca organizing a "Tribute to Cante Flamenco" with the performance of the artists invited to the festival this year, including Morilito of Córdoba, Enrique Ordóñez, Charo Street, Toni Barroso, Vico David Sánchez, Araceli Ruiz, the master Arrebola.

As highlighted by the organization, and ends a new edition of the festival, leaving a great feeling about the influx of public participation and, thus confirming that the Flamenco Festival "Golden Grape" Jumilla, is more alive than ever.
