The Christ tied to the column and resting at home, the Monastery of Santa Ana (12/05/2014)

Hundreds of faithful joined yesterday jumillanos Christ tied to the column, on his return home, the Monastery of Santa Ana, where he remained until Palm Sunday next year, as tradition in the town.

The day began at 6.30 am with a officiated by Pastors Don Jorge Oliva and Don José Luis Bleda, in the parish church of Santiago, Mass where he left the procession towards the Ermita de San Agustín, for the bachelor's civil and religious authorities of the image.

After about two hours of pilgrimage, Christ tied to the column reached the Monastery of Santa Ana del Monte, where the Franciscan priests and hundreds of jumillanos awaited his arrival with a mass in his honor.

Moreover, the Rock of Christ Caballista Los Romeros, performed their traditional climb Pilgrimage with dozens of horses and carriages, which then exposed throughout the morning in Santa Ana la Vieja.

Without any remarkable event of emergency, the pilgrimage ended yesterday with a remarkable participation, albeit with a noticeable drop Jumillano Jumillano during the morning.
