The tourist wealth of Lorca is exposed in Jumilla for days at the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia (07/05/2014)

María Dolores Fernández, Councillor for Culture and Tourism, accompanied by the deputy mayor of Lorca, Francisco F. Montiel, and the regional deputy Seve González, inaugurated the exhibition in the coming days will host the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia dedicated to 10 years of Lorca Taller del Tiempo.

As said the head of Culture and Tourism of Jumilla, "the city of Lorca has evolved tremendously level of tourism in recent years, has a huge potential, and this exhibition will be a dominant contribution to reflect this evolution."

María Dolores Fernández also thanked the City of Lorca, "Jumilla is important part of this tour, which reflected his 10 years of work."

For his part, Francisco Montiel, highlighted some of the important issues to be found in the exhibition, such as the recovery of the castle, or the impact of the earthquake and subsequent restoration of cultural heritage.

"Lorca is a city near Jumilla, and I'm sure that the exchange between Lorca Jumillano and enrich us all alike."

The deputy mayor of Lorca concluded by inviting the people of Jumilla to visit the exhibition, and the town of Lorca, "a unique cultural experience."

"Lorcalízate, 10 years of tourism Lorca"

"Lorcalízate, 10 years of tourism Lorca", takes a look at what 10 years of activities the tourist consortium has been carrying out to promote cultural tourism in Lorca, doing a retrospective of the restoration of heritage, promoting the city, creating tours, and prizes won, among other issues, in order to communicate that Lorca is recovered and encourage tourist visits to the municipality.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Time Workshop staff will undertake a commercial work in travel agencies and groups in the area revealing new tourism resources of the city as the Archeological Park and Castle XV century Synagogue where the exhibition "Traces of Jewish Culture in Lorca" in his tour of Spanish cities has been visited by over 70,000 people, and Easter parades.

In addition, visitors who come to see the exhibition, may participate in a contest with their mobile devices and tablets via a QR code, can get a gift on your next visit to Lorca if correctly answer questions.

This exhibition has already roamed to different cities in the region and neighboring provinces near and Caravaca de la Cruz, Vera, Cehegín, Cieza and Torre Pacheco and continue his tour of the region visiting San Pedro del Pinatar and Yecla.
