The Board of Free Internet access is already up (27/03/2014)

Since this morning, Jumilla has a new free hotspot internet with the launch of the WALA room.

15 computers, over wifi, which may be used by all people in the town who need this service Monday to Saturday at the House of Culture Don Jose Yague.

As expressed by the Councillor for New Technologies, Fernando Oñate, "Living with WALA is available to the public a free Internet access and dissemination, use, and training in new information technologies and telecommunications, increasingly pulling the Society. "

The Room Free Internet access is available to all citizens, to develop self-learning activities and individual work, and although access will be free, have time constraints, in order to increase the number of people they can access the service.

To access services WALA be necessary to present the DNI of the wearer, and in the case of minors, parents or guardians must authorize them through the use of proof.

WALA's offer is completed with a program of courses that the Department is now finalizing which can access all interested persons on various subjects such as introduction to computers, safe use of social networks and information technology among others.

The opening hours of the classroom:

Monday, from 16.00 to 20.00

Tuesday to Friday from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00

Saturdays from 11.00 to 13.00
