The Regulatory Council of the Denomination of Origin of Cheese, Murcia, organized in collaboration with the Department of Education, a drawing competition aimed at students of Primary Education Centers Jumilla, on the occasion of the celebration of the Week Cheese of the Region of Murcia.
The contest aims to bring advocacy to those most representative municipalities in the production of goat cheese under the Denomination of Origin, including Jumilla.
Thus, during the week from 23 to 28 March in Murcia, Cartagena, Bullas, Calasparra, Caravaca de la Cruz, and Lorca, Jumilla addition, numerous activities for promoting awareness of this rich cuisine will be made, including The drawing competition for schoolchildren in the municipality.
The drawing will be free of any reason alluding to traditional cheese making in Murcia, Murcia the goat cheese and the role as a staple food.
The competition will be divided into two categories, category A students / as 1st, 2nd and 3rd primary, and category B for 4th, 5th and 6th grade.
The jury will select three pictures by category and center, which will be exposed to the public since the afternoon of March 25 at the entrance of Sociocultural Roque Baños.
These drawings also finalists will be posted on the Facebook page of the Control Board anonymously so they can be voted on by our fans www.facebook.com / quesosdemurcia page.
The decision and award ceremony will be held on March 27 at 19.00 in the Auditorium "Los Gavilanes" Sociocultural Center Roque Baños, an act that will also be shared with the awards Contest jumillanas Empanadas with cheese, during that week will be on the same site.
