The Regional Project Coordinator European Young Enterprise, HUB, and Entrepreneur at my school, EME, embodies Teruel, together with the Councillor for Economy and Employment, Almudena Martinez, last week visited two schools in the town who are participating in both projects.
The participating centers are the IES Infanta Elena and Prince Felipe CEIP.
In each two cooperatives have been established, one in each participating class, in which students will market the products they buy, or they themselves manufactured.
Each cooperative is constituted by the partners and members of each class, which initially disbursed capital.
In addition, each cooperative has its Governing Council consisting of President /, vice / a secretary / treasurer ay / a, as well as the different departments that each count.
Presidents / as, of each of the cooperatives are elected / as by peers / as within profiles of responsibility, organization and different management skills.
Also, before deciding which product to be marketed or produced, should study the costs of manufacture, market and price to make a profit.
These business projects began to take shape with the start of the school year and culminate this spring, with the conclusion of a regional market in which each constituted cooperatives, will market its products and where the four cooperatives of the town will be present.
During his visit, the Councillor for Economy and Employment reminded the students the important opportunity provided to them through the completion of these cooperative projects through which, the students learn values ​​and social skills not acquired for the study of race, such as teamwork, responsibility, communication and conflict resolution.
