This weekend, the Vico Theatre will host one of the most renowned works of children's programming scheduled for the first quarter, the musical "The Wizard of Oz," which hit Jumilla led by César Oliva Bernal.
The Wizard of Oz follows the adventures of Dorothy, a dreamy girl who lives a peaceful life with his uncles Henry and Emma.
One day, while sleeping, Dorothy is swept by a tornado and wakes with his dog Toto in the Land of Oz, a strange and wonderful world.
From there, Dorita has to undertake the journey back home.
This seeks help from the Good Witch, who informs him that to return home should go to the Emerald City to see the Great Wizard, which is the only one who can help her.
To protect her from all the dangers that stalk you, the Good Witch Dorita kissing and gives him a magical slippers.
Thus, Dorita begins his journey through the yellow brick road along which is quirky but likeable characters: a scarecrow that has no brain, a Tin Man who wants a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who lacks courage.
When they arrive at the Emerald City, the protagonists are driven to Oz to grant them his help, but in return asks Oz defeat the Evil Witch before they can make their wishes.
After dodging various hazards, Dorothy and her friends face to get powerful and destroy Evil Witch.
However, to return to the Emerald City, is just this a sobbing frightened at the possibility of not returning home and Dorita never desert wasteland.
Finally, the Good Witch and the Wizard are presented and this fulfills his promise to help Dorothy return home.
Admission is 8 euros in armchair, stage and audience, and 6 in general, and will be available on Friday from 18.00 to 20.00 at the box office of Teatro Vico, and two hours before the start of the function, which will be Saturday 15 February at 18.30.
