Exhibition "Wine in Art" (09/01/2014)

The exhibition in which 16 artists participated, with nearly 40 works and will run until January 24

The Department of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with the Institute of Culture Wine Jumilla (ICV) organized the painting exhibition "Wine in Art", for which, the Association of Artists of Molina de Segura, stood according to all its partners for them to work with wine-related works and their world, and Jumilla is exposed during these days the result.

Almost forty works by 16 artists make up this exhibition, which pays tribute to wine and everything that has to do with him.

The exhibition "Wine in Art" will be held on the premises of Wine Interpretation Centre in the ancient craft of plaiting Arsenal, the first activity that takes place in those ships, once restored.

The mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, together with the Councillor for Culture, María Dolores Fernández and various individuals associated with the wine and art, were responsible for opening the exhibition will be open until the 24th of January, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 17.00 to 20.00 hours and Sundays and holidays from 11.00 to 14:00 hours, Mondays closed.

The rehabilitation of these buildings began in 2012, and in the absence of the museum and museum project, on which according to the mayor at the opening "is working hard," he said, the facility will house exhibits and displays as the start of the activity during the first quarter of 2014.
