Youth councilor meets new youth correspondents of the two IES Township (20/11/2013)

Councilman Young, Fernando Oñate, and the technique of the Department, Isabel Maria Perez Benitez, met yesterday with four youth correspondents to represent the two institutes of the town, on a first contact with his new position.

Beatriz María Jesús Bleda Perona and thus represent the students of the IES Infanta Elena, and Alba Muñoz and María José Pérez to Archbishop Lozano.

During the meeting presented the programming work points to develop in the coming months, its first task, the completion of a survey among students from both schools in putting forward their interests, worries and concerns, to then group them and work on them.

Youth Correspondents is a program to decentralize information to young people by providing access to it.

This course is the fifth edition 2013-14 and the Region has 55 correspondents in secondary education centers and universities, in 32 municipalities of the Region of Murcia.

Youth Correspondents are young students who are primarily responsible for informing young people of their calls centers, resources and activities that may interest them.

They take to manage a panel and attend Youth Information Point.

Correspondent function is to inform, Informajoven coordinated with your municipality and competent Directorate of Youth in the Region of Murcia, of all matters that may be of interest to young people, leisure and recreation, youth accommodation, scholarships and grants , study, work, useful addresses, publications, etc..

Also, has another primary function, which is to detect, collect and transmit the demands and needs of young people.
