The mayor receives a representation of students demonstrated yesterday against the City (23/10/2013)

Yesterday Tuesday, October 22, a group of 4 students of ESO Stone Cross CEIP manifested at the gates of the city of Jumilla, in signal given by the current educational framework in which the country finds , a few weeks after approving the Organic Act for the Improvement of Educational Quality.

What at first was a demonstration focused on education, degenerated into personal appeals to the government team, with special mention to the mayor of Jumilla.

In addition the school reported some precarious situations at school where they belong.

Given this, the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, received this morning to a representation of students who staged the protest, to take cognizance of the same and share the different positions of those involved.

However, the intention of the school today, has been to convey the apology to the highest authority and the City of Jumilla, first by the development of the demonstration, and then by the claims made on the state of the center, which themselves Students have denied, recognizing that not true with no heating, or enough teachers to give the various subjects taught.

The mayor thanked the gesture, and wanted to highlight the merit apologize when you are wrong, especially when it comes to people so young.

It also encouraged them to continue vindicating their rights, provided in accordance with the law, and their own ideas.
