The council of Agriculture Opens Livestock XV Training Course held in Jumilla (23/10/2013)

The Association of the Goat Breeders Murcia-Granada, ACRIMUR, held yesterday in Jumilla, the Livestock Training Course XV, which was attended by over fifty winners who work with goat sector in the municipality.

The Councillor for Agriculture, Francisco Martinez Escandell, was in charge of opening the course, along with the president of the Association, Emilio Carranco Murillo, who thanked the high turnout to the day, which he said "will be a point of support to continue developing the work as goat farmers, and make them the most profitable farms possible ".

Meanwhile, Escandell he said about that "these courses will result in an improvement in the sector, not only for the contents therein teach, but because thanks to them, encourages contact between farmers, representing an exchange of experiences that contribute to a better understanding of the sector ".

In different papers addressed issues such as the situation of herds ACRIMUR selective core, the online rating system for the goat breeding Murcia-Granada, digestive problems in goats, the importance of the fight against the contagious agalactia or benefits of artificial feeding and recrío of goats.

These courses are funded by the European Social Fund and the Ministry of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs and are intended for training and technical improvement in the national livestock sector.
