The revitalization of local commerce focuses Local Council of Employment and Economic Development (23/10/2013)

ENHANCEMENT CAMPAIGN

Moreover the Council was informed of the training measures, which from the various regional bodies are being developed to promote the sector, such as training for retail employees through agreements with EMCF, or the 'Mentoring Program in Electronic Commerce 'among others.

INITIATIVES

Among the initiatives that will work in the coming year are locally Jumilla Outlet Fair, to be held in the spring of 2014, the Trade Week Jumilla, which offer lectures and workshops on how to prevent theft or scams trade as well as techniques to boost the sector.

The First Shopping Night (Night of Purchases), the development of an annual calendar of events, or the launch of a campaign to promote the Food Markets, are other proposals that the Department of Commerce will work in the coming months.

Council representatives thus took knowledge of the different measures focused on trade that the City Council are developing.

A proposal by the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, it was agreed that the next song is dedicated to tourism, for which will be sent to the Board members, the study on the identification of job actions in the tourism sector in the highlands.

The report was conducted by KPMG and was funded entirely by the SEFRM, with the objective of determining employment actions that can be developed in the highlands from the tourism sector.
