On Sunday October 20, Jumilla is the city chosen this year by the Celiac Association of Murcia, to celebrate their annual living, I find that meet in the town around 200 people including children and adults.
The expedition will arrive in Jumilla at 10.00, and will be the mayor of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, who give them welcome in front of the Teatro Vico, where they will begin a visit to the town.
From there, they split into two groups to visit on a rotating basis the Museum of Ethnography and Natural Sciences Jerónimo Molina, and the winery Silvano Garcia.
Also stroll through the main streets of the town accompanied by the guide Ana Lopez.
The visit will end with a special meal without gluten, with gluten-free food tasting and playgrounds for children.
The Celiac Association of Murcia visit every year a municipality in the region to conduct annual coexistence in which celiac gather the whole community, as an approach and standardization of the disease.
As explained by Antonio Valero, Councillor for Citizen Participation, "for the Department is very pleased that the Celiac Association of Murcia Jumilla has chosen to celebrate its annual coexistence, and held every year at different points in the region. In Jumilla , the support that the City provides to this group is constant with different actions as an example, the distribution of gluten free goodies during the parade of kings in previous years, or tasting samples gluten products among others. "
