The Councillor of Commerce reports aid to improve sales through Internet for traders (25/09/2013)

The Department of Commerce reported to trade associations and small and medium enterprises 'Mentoring Program in Electronic Commerce', which is available to them 643,000 euros of aid to incorporate new technologies business implementing or improving their sales platforms over the Internet.

The Mentoring Program is an initiative of Red.es, a governmental entity under the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism aims to incorporate the Information Technology and Communications (ICT) to business processes trades and SMEs, enhancing different sales channels 'on-line'.

It also offers the opportunity to develop a business strategy for starting a project to sell 'on-line' and easy positioning on the Internet.

As highlighted, Antonio Valero, Councillor of Commerce, "This type of initiative is a key driver for the development of any business boosting the local economy and opening a new door to other forms of trade."

This modality is growing and, therefore, an important alternative for the expansion of any business.

The Comprehensive Plan Support Competitiveness of Retail Trade 2013, contains a very specific measure aimed at extending the use of e-commerce solutions to retailers and, therefore, its adaptation to new sales channels.

The program offers two types of aid.

One is the expertise to each of the SMEs or self by experts approved by the collaborating institutions.

In the region there are several companies that will conduct a personalized analysis of individual SMEs to boost its strategic position in the online market.

To do this have a value of 85 percent of the cost of this scheme, up to a maximum of 20,000 euros per beneficiary.

Besides this personalized advice to see how the company is positioned in the network, there is a second type of aid that is the implementation of specific technology solutions and services that help e-commerce, in short, the marketing of products and services these SMEs.

These have a value of 75 percent of total eligible project costs of implementing technological solutions and e-commerce services, up to $ 10,000 per beneficiary.
