34 OJ feature award-winning wines in the international contest.
Portuguese wines earn 43 awards, the Spanish reach 50 awards 23/08/2013.
The Association publishes Vinduero-Vindouro through this release the jury Arribe Award 2013.
This international competition evaluates the best wines from Spain and Portugal.
Between 5 and 7 August in the town of Salamanca Trabanca an international tasting committee, made up of 23 professional and renowned winemakers have tasted 319 wines entered in the competition.
In this edition have participated from 44 wines of Spain and Portugal OJ.
The regulation establishes Arribe Award the following types of awards: the Grand Arribe Gold, which is a unique award among all the wines in competition, the highest scoring wine is obtained from all categories and if it is above 94 points the Golden Arribe, awarded to wines that have achieved 90 points or more Arribe Silver, awarded to all wines that have received more than 85 points and less than 90.
Highlight Arribe two Silver awards obtained by breeding red Carchelo Servant of Bodegas Silvano Garcia Dulce and Moscatel de Bodegas Silvano Garcia, the latter in the category of fortified wines.
Vinduero-Vindouro Association, organizer of the event, will present the awards to the winning wineries on October 26 during a gala, as has become tradition, is held every year after the harvest.
That day will also be made public when the special prize for Best Design and Corporate Image.
