The Virgin of the Assumption receives the warmth of his people on your big day (16/08/2013)

As is tradition in Jumilla, last August 15, the day of the patroness of Jumilla, the Virgin of the Assumption procession went through the center of town to receive the support of his people on your big day.

Acts is his honor began in the morning at 12.00 with the recitation of the Angelus and the solemn Mass celebrated by the pastor Reverend Joaquin Hernandez Latorre, and in the Coral Canticorum speaking.

In the afternoon, at 20.00 hours, after the Mass in honor of Our Lady of the Assumption was taken in procession through the streets of Jumilla, in a journey that started from the parish church of Santiago, through Miguel Trigueros, Lucerne, St. Mary , Castelar, Constitution Square, Canovas del Castillo, Steps, Calvary Crosses to stand again in the Parish of Santiago.

The procession was accompanied by Mayor patroness of Jumilla, Enrique Jimenez, by the government team, and part of the socialist municipal group, and representatives of each of the major municipal associations and groups festive, with the Association of Moors and Christian Peter I, one of the most numerous with the participation of all its extras.

Part in the procession as they did in the Good Friday procession, and for the first time in the patron, some of the headman of the village.

The acts that the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Assumption has been scheduled for this year's festivities, which began on Sunday July 21 with the procession of the patron transfer from the Hermitage of St. Augustine to the Parish of Salvador, conclude the which will take place next Sunday the descent to San Augustine.
