On August 3rd workshop took place "Mineralízate!", Which involved children aged 6 to 12 accompanied mostly by their parents.

Both youth and adults made contact with the world of minerals amateur expert hands, Angel Francisco Cutillas, to which we owe the vast mineral collection of the Museum of Ethnography and Natural History of our town.

For the realization of this workshop was made a morning visit to the Celia Mine where children could collect various minerals of the old dumps (since the collection of minerals inside the mines is prohibited by law) and do a little tour of the old quarry area, which surprised both major and minor.

In the afternoon, the workshop continued in the Geology section of the museum, with the classification of the various minerals collected that morning, as well as an explanation of the world of minerals and interesting collection today is housed in the museum.

The workshop was sponsored by the aforementioned Angel Francisco Cutillas with oversight of the Ethnographic Museum and Natural Sciences, the Department of Culture and Tourism in collaboration with "La Casa del Museo SCL."
