Still open enrollment period for the Artisan Cheese Tasting commentary (14/06/2013)

The Artisan House will host next Wednesday June 19 this tasting organized by the Department of Craft and OJ Cheese from Murcia and Murcia al Vino Cheese.

In summer activities planned for this quarter in Jumilla Artisan House, as reported by Councilman Crafts and Citizenship, Antonio Valero, the Department, in collaboration with the Regulatory Council of the DO Cheese from Murcia and Cheese Murcia al Vino, has organized this Artisan Cheese Tasting commented.

The event will take place at the Artisan's House on Wednesday June 19 from 20.30.

Registration is free, being necessary to register in advance at the Department of Citizenship located at the Roque Baños Sociocultural Center, by phone 968 958 640 or e participa@jumilla.org.

During the event, attendees will receive practical training in the art of tasting cheese and know in detail the characteristics of Murcia goat cheese covered by the Designation of Origin 'Cured Murcia cheese and Fresh' and 'Queso de Murcia al Vino '.

The content of the session includes a multimedia presentation with theoretical concepts in preparation for the tasting, which highlights the traditional methods of cheese making, history and sensory analysis.

Finally, it makes a tasting of all three types of cheese, Murcia al Vino Cheese, Murcia Cheese Queso Fresco and Murcia Curado, during which he described, in each case, attributes such as smell, texture and flavors.
