The Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's and other Dementias (AFAD Jumilla), in collaboration with the Department of Culture, held an activity, this Thursday at 10.30 am, at the Ethnographic Museum of Natural Sciences, entitled "A Souvenir past "commemorating the International Museum Day.
The activity is divided into two parts, the first one will be a guided tour of the Museum, with the help of Cayetano Herrero, where facilities are displayed, recalling the missing trades (beekeeper, tinsmith, espartero, Shearer ...) folk pottery, glass and other materials which houses the museum.
In the second, there will be a group therapy where participants express the feelings and to identify the tools and materials viewed, and in past years.
This activity is aimed at the positive assessment of the items inside the museum, its history, leaving the imagination so many memories awakening through the display of objects or utensils used by our ancestors and complements other workshops conducted by the association with peculiarity of going outside the group can relate to and get away from it, while it stimulates the disease is taking: memory.
Participants may register for this morning at the headquarters of the association located at the Roque Baños Sociocultural Center.
