The Special Employment Commission, Regional Assembly and Local Employment Commission Altiplano, gathered in Jumilla on Friday (14/05/2013)

After receiving in Mayor Ginés Martínez, Director General of SEF, José Antonio Ruiz Vivo, President of the Commission, and John Michael Macho, Employment Councilwoman Yecla City Council, Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, welcomed in the Hall Plenary, members of the Special Committee on Employment of the Regional Assembly.

The meeting was then held between Local Employment Commission Altiplano and the Special Committee on Employment of the Regional Assembly, with the participation of technical and Local Development Agents of the City.

As stated by the Mayor, in this institutional meeting is a sharing and an assessment of employment policies conducted in the District of Highlands, and evaluated the effect have had so far.

Furthermore, according to Jimenez, the Local Employment Commission Altiplano meets at least quarterly but, given the current situation, is celebrated more often, and in it, the different administrations, coordinate employment policies in the region.

Ginés Martínez explained that Local Employment Committees are participatory and consultative organ of involving all institutional, social and economic planning, brainstorming and active initiatives that stimulate economic activity.

Seve Gonzales, spokesman of the Popular Group, revealed that the commission came to listen to proposals, as there is a diagnosis of unemployment situations in nine counties, so the Committee decided to meet the territories and problems of each.
