The Company The Generala began providing housekeeping and maintenance of the landscaped areas of the town last April, through a contract that is expected to last three months extendable other three.
A company with extensive experience in public service, located in the region, as reported by the Services and Gardens Councilman Juan Manuel Abellán.
To carry out these tasks, the company has hired eight people, four men and four women, all of Jumilla, and two of them are unemployed, aged between 25 and 50.
This company also has specialized machinery, even for tasks that do not have required and sustainable vehicle entering uncontaminated parks and gardens.
This maintenance service is provided Monday through Sunday, intensive schedule, but also review the main gardens of the town in the evenings.
This company scored highest and was declared the lowest bid by the Governing Board last March 11, to carry out the maintenance and cleaning of garden areas, assessed after the financial offer, the additional hours offered, the technical project and other improvements as were maintaining street furniture, replacement of gravel and alberos, supply of plants, including control activities in the Palm Red Weevil.
