The Department of Culture will celebrate the Night of Insects, the next weekend, which includes an activity in Santa Ana on Friday night, and on Saturday morning the task will be performed at the Ethnographic Museum.
On Friday, May 10, at 20.00 hours, will be out to Santa Ana from the Central Market.
Already on Mount Santa Ana, from shortly before sunset until about 24 hours depending on atmospheric conditions, the activity will be:
Fitting mixed light tower generator sets powered by
Mounting actinic light trap + portable black light
Collection of insects from the traps
Shooting (the camera needs to take macro function)
Explanations of the various species by Francisco Gutiérrez and José Luís Lenci

Already on Saturday, May 11, the activity would take place in the Museum of Natural Science Saturday morning May 11, from 10 am, consisting of:
Extended and copy preparation destined for the Museum's collections, material used (extenders, entomological pins, tweezers, etc ...), conservation and storage in entomological boxes, Census database copies, sorting, tags, etc..
This activity is designed for any audience, of any age, interested in the environment.
