As reported by the Councillor for Social Services, John Calabuig, this morning welcomed the inaugural meeting of the City Commission of Truancy.

This commission was established by full agreement October 29, 2012, and amended in their members to comply with the Order of the Ministry of Education for regulating the Regional Programme on Prevention, monitoring and control truancy (RESP), to accommodate the new members under this Order.

The initial session was elected deputy chairman Councilman Social Services Calabuig Juan Martinez, and secretary to the truancy program coordinator and psychologist Social Services Centre, Simon Antonia María Bleda.

There have been further cites the Councillor for Public Safety, Marina Garcia, director of CEIP "Carmen Conde", Francisco Javier Bleda Gilar representing Primary education centers, the director of IES Infanta Elena, Francisco Campillo, representing secondary schools; Morote Javier Martinez, representing teams educational psychologists, Catalina Martínez López, professor of art services to the Community of IES "Archbishop Lozano" Ballester Francisco Hernández, in his capacity as technical advisor teacher the Ministry of Education, RESP program linked to, as well as representatives of the AMPAS and the political groups represented in the City of Jumilla.

The Committee will meet quarterly, the next meeting being convened by the end of May.

By the Department of Social Services has submitted the draft Municipal Plan of absenteeism and drop Jumilla, in order to gather all the members for their contributions drafting and final approval by the Municipal Council.
