It is an activity carried out by the Department of Social Policy, issued in Immigrant Accommodation Program, funded by the European Social Fund.
The Department of Social Policy, through a grant from the European Social Fund for the integration of immigrants, is conducting various activities aimed at immigrants from outside through the Accommodation of Immigrants Programme 2013.
Among the activities covered by the Migrant Accommodation Program, will hold a conference entitled "Spain between cultures" by Emiliano Hernandez, coordinator of the culture of the City.
The conference will be held on April 15 at 19 pm in the Hall of Sociocultural Center Gavilanes Roque Banos.
This conference aims to raise public awareness that our social environment is composed of people from different backgrounds, with different backgrounds, expectations, ways of understanding the world, to communicate and interact, and that cultural diversity and coexistence among cultures is a fact that we live on a daily basis.
The diversity is present in our day to day, and intercultural relations occur in various areas of everyday life, so, through these talks, is intended to encourage this interaction is real and peaceful, as fundamental challenge for construction a cohesive society.
