Yesterday was held the second of this conference, which aims to bring together the resources and skills agents for better treatment of victims of domestic violence.
The Councillor for Equality, Alicia Abellán, Radio reported today in Jumilla, holding a training day aimed at Guardia Civil and Local Police, which took place yesterday, in order to offer agents of both bodies, accurate available resources for women victims of domestic violence, as well as skills to improve personal attention in cases of domestic violence.
This training day, as reported by the councilor, and a first meeting was held a few weeks ago, and will continue to expand with new sessions and other topics.
Topics covered agents learned about the operations of services such as 112 emergency phone, the care and counseling 016, or operation of the Psychological Point, with which we in Jumilla, and which can be accessed by phone 901 101 332.
Currently the Department is working to establish mechanisms to ensure the care and protection of victims, encouraging coordination between the classes involved, and it is planned to form the Local Coordinating Board, as a body channeling that necessary coordination between institutions.
