During every Wednesday in February, after 20 hours in the Cultural Hall Cajamurcia, will address the tourism from different perspectives.

Emiliano Hernandez, coordinator of the Culture and Josefa Perez, head of the Office of Tourism in our area, presented the tourism conference, which was unable to attend the Councillor for Culture.

This weekend was held FITUR, where Jumilla, through the stand of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia and Tour through Spain, has been present through different material and informative tour of our cultural heritage.

Tourism in 2012 compared to 2011 has increased by 14% in our locality, figures rising to be fostered through the search for ways to exploit the cultural, natural and Jumilla wine benefit tourism.

In these three aspects Jumilla has great potential, and also learning from what people tell us during the conference outside and ending with a round table will be apparent how different perspectives are tourism, said Hernandez.

Spain is a world leader in tourism.

Tourism in Spain accounts for 10% of gross domestic product, and remains one of the booming sectors which is not affected by the crisis and continues to grow moderately.

The Ministry, in its Strategic Plan for Tourism, has called it a resource creator of jobs and wealth dragging other economic sectors.
