Yesterday prizes were awarded to the campaign "Grow in Security" in Phase Regional (18/10/2012)

The Minister of Education, Constantine Sotoca, accompanied by Miguel Angel House, yesterday presented prizes to the top ten regional contest drawings "Grows in Security", including the work of Juan Luis Gonzalez, Mariano Suárez CEIP.

Juan Calabuig, Councilman Internal Affairs, also attended the awards ceremony held in the auditorium of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment of the Region of Murcia.

In this edition of "Grow Security," nearly 9,000 participating elementary students throughout the Region.

Of all the works are over 400 drawings selected for the regional phase.

Within the top 10 jobs, of those 400, is the work of Jose Luis Gonzales, Mariano Suárez CEIP in our town.

During the campaign, professionals taught prevention presentations to teachers and students explaining what risks they are exposed to at home, at school or in the workplace.

The aim is to bring culture of prevention to schools and encourage students healthy habits that will prevent the most common risks to which they are exposed as falls, burns, electrical hazards, cuts, or toxic products, which are avoidable if known measures to prevent them.

The ten best drawings were awarded to students are Andrea Melgarejo, College of Our Lady of Fuensanta of Murcia, Paula Andres Zuniga, CEIP Dawn of Yecla, Pedro Fernandez Milan, Pérez de Hita college of Lorca, Ainhoa ​​Navarro Virtuoso, the Nuestra Señora del Carmen CEIP Alguazas, Nicole Armitos Quizhpe, CEIP Cervantes Cotillas Towers, José Luis González Jiménez, college Jumilla Mariano Suárez, Lucía Hernández Guillén, Nuestra Sra CEIP . del Carmen La Union, Domenech Fernando Lopez, CEIP Our Lady of Sorrows Eagles, Isabel Fernandez loam, Mastia school, Cartagena, and Marta Montoya González, the school Our Lady of Consolation of Caravaca Cross.

To Sotoca, it is imperative that "our students, especially those of younger ages, grow educated in aspects that we consider very important in its development, as is safety and health."

"We need to build the capacity of students to begin to instill and encourage them to do preventive culture permeating throughout their educational stage, but in order that it may become a standard practice whenever you face the professional world" .
