The Department of Services is conducting a series of works to improve access to the Garden of King Don Pedro.
The main activity consists in replacing some of the steps of these stairs as the state of disrepair in which they were.
So, beginning Monday gave these works done by the staff of the Department of Public Utilities and, as reported by the City Council, the work involves replacing damaged rungs with new improved materials and fill in those steps that have small cracks with a special filling material.
In total to be replaced about thirty parts, and more than fifty be repaired.
Work is expected to close sometime during the week, ready for the start of the holidays.
Also Councilman Juan Manuel Abellan, reported last week that it also held a special cleaning road by the Department of Services, and acted in Levante Avenue, Avenue of Ferdinand and Isabella and Canovas del Castillo, and as near the same, as are the cross streets.
A special performance by cleaning and will be held on the occasion last year, too, the proximity of the Fair and Festival August in honor of the patron.
Juan Manuel Abellan wanted to apologize for the inconvenience caused to neighbors and acknowledge the assistance of the same.
