Yesterday prizes were awarded campaign "Grow in Security" (08/06/2012)

The award was given by Mayor Enrique Jimenez, the Director General of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Thomas Perez Fuentes, Councilman Internal Affairs, John Calabuig, and Juan Carlos Simon, representing the company SICO Engineering and Security has been the coordinator of this campaign.

Calabuig was on hand to welcome the members of the board and the students and representatives of schools participating in the campaign.

For the first time in our town, all primary schools have participated in this campaign, an implication that the City Council wanted to extend the work done in the personnel department, in the person of the art prevention, Consuelo Madrid.

The Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, welcomed the presence of Thomas Perez and the SICO company, and good work done by both.

Enrique Jimenez said that this year there have been 85 jobs, "all worthy of a prize, but only the winners can be ten."

Thomas said the cooperation from the City year after year, remembering that this campaign is one of the most important changes from the Institute, with great success in our town, since it has been able to reach all students in fifth grade.

Been used to to congratulate all participating students, to encourage them to advantage in the future, may be technical in prevention, as they have captured perfectly the goal of this campaign.

Thomas also congratulated parents, explaining also the work of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in the Region.

This year's awards have gone to the drawings of the following students in grades 5 primary:

Maria Asunción Lencina Tomas (Santa Ana).

Lucia Gonzalez Lopez (San Francisco).

7 th.

Abel Lopez Martinez (Mariano Suarez).

8 º.

Tomas Alonso Carmen (Santa Ana).

9 th.

Anabel Gonzalez Valera (San Francisco).

10 °.

Laura Morales Martinez (Santa Ana).

The ten winning students have received gifts such as digital cameras, MP4 players and comics of Don Quixote.

It has also been given a diploma certifying participation in the campaign to representatives of schools.

Through this campaign, promoted by the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment through the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health of the Region of Murcia, has claimed that the students know that their daily activities are subject to accidents due to possible falls, burns, workload, contact with toxic chemicals, electrical hazards, bumps and shocks, cuts, wounds and abrasions, fire and explosion, asphyxiation and airway obstruction.

Throughout the drawings can be seen that the children of our town, have assimilated the message of the campaign.

In general, have resulted in his drawings are risks every day and they will find when you get a job, forming the roots of future workers safe and aware, to prevent and promote safety and health, both at work and in their daily lives.
