The Mayor receives a delegation of students from Slovenia. (30/05/2012)

This morning, Mayor, Enrique Jimenez has hosted ten students from Slovenia, who will be in our town until next Monday.

The Mayor, Enrique Jimenez, accompanied by Councilman Green IU, Jose Antonio Perez and Councilman Celebration, Antonio Valero, have welcomed, in the Plenary Hall of the City Council, the group of exchange students, from Slovenia, as well as four teachers accompanying them are native.

This exchange has been agreed by the IES Infanta Elena, by Fulgencio Garcia, the first time you do a student exchange with this country.

Slovenian students came to our town last Monday, twenty-eight, and will be here for a week.

During their stay, students will use for cultural visits, including visits to the Castle, the Museum and City Hall.

Other activities will also take trips to the beach and Terra Mitica.

Through these projects, the institute aims to acquaint students with the greatest number of European countries through sharing and living together in families, in order for students to practice their English, as identified by them, stay in a family is more profitable than a school trip when practicing another language such as English and the importance of the knowledge of the language.

Students of IES Infanta Elena exchange participants will visit the capital of Slovenia (Ljubljana), remaining there from 20 to 27 June.
