Councillor of Social Services has announced that this week will develop workshops aimed at improving the life patterns that help to preserve autonomy.
The "Week of Promotion of autonomy for the Elderly" is an initiative of the Social Work of CAM, which helps the Department of Social Services and that consists of three workshops for older people and a maximum of 2 hours each one of them.
The contents of these are: Improved memory performance, sleep well, and Improving Self-Esteem.
The same will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10.30 hours to 12.30 pm in the Social Services Center, located in Albany Street Martinez.
After the last session, made a closing event in which it is delivered to all participants of a Diploma and shared with them a snack.
Since the evening of Tuesday and Wednesday, there is the training program aimed at carers and carers, distributed in two afternoon sessions, from 16.30 hours to 19.30.
Be held in Building Sociocultural Roque Baños.
Councilman John Calabuig, has very highly such initiatives of a few days ago, accompanied by the Director of Social Work CAM, also announced the seminar being taught today.
