The Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, by Order of September 6, 2011 (BORM No 214 of September 16) called subsidies to municipalities of the Region of Murcia for the implementation of actions aimed at prevention, monitoring and control of absenteeism and early school leaving, for the academic year 2011-2012, under the heading credit under 15.05.00.422G.463.49 for municipalities to finance complementary actions of compensatory education.

At the time requested by the Board of Local Government and Regional Government agreed to grant the same for the full amount requested.

The grant is intended for the implementation of actions aimed at the prevention, monitoring and control of absenteeism and early school leaving, for the school year 2011-2012.
